This year we have had the pleasure of several schools joining us. Trinity School, Culford School and Sutton Grammar Schools have landed in Malawi with bump this year, rolled their sleeves up and got stuck straight into projects.
We always say we love schools heading out here, and we really do. Schools from the UK connecting with schools and projects here in Malawi brings impact to Malawi and impacts the students from the UK experiencing a developing nation for the first time.
Our staff love sharing their lives, culture and country with all schools, groups, families and individuals who venture out to Malawi. They see it as an opportunity to educate people about Malawi and convince even more people to fall in love with this beautiful country.
Schools invest in the projects and people here, through building classrooms, renovating classrooms and building libraries, collecting books, raising money, running project my girl/boy - the list is endless. The enthusiasm and energy plugged into Fisherman’s Rest over July and August rolls on throughout the rest of the year as we continue to implement programmes and work with local communities across all our projects.
So thank you to you all for your time, investment and care!
