FROM Wales uses cookies to ensure a smooth running of our website for a user friendly experience. We also use cookies to analyse and track activity on our website through partners such as "Google analytics" and "facebook Ads".  The purpose of these tools is to enable us to connect and network with people who may be interested in our projects and to promote our work in Malawi.

What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place in your browser when you visit them. When you return to the site, the site can access its previously placed cookie to uniquely identify your browser. Cookies accomplish several different things. They recall your preferences at a website, help you view content more efficiently and improve the overall user experience on a website. The can also help advertisers see what interests you and what advertising may be relevant to you. For further information on cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set on your device and how to manage and delete them, visit https://www.allaboutcookies.org/.

How do we use them?

We use cookies through WIX who collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type. We also use cookies to report aggregate information to our analytics and advertising partners "google analytics" and "facebook Ads Manager". This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual. Read WIX privacy policy here

What Cookies do we use?

Strictly necessary cookies. These are cookies that are required for the operation of the FROM Wales site.

Analytical/performance cookies. They allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around the Site when they are using them. This helps us to improve the way the FROM Wales sites work, for example, by ensuring that users are finding what they are looking for easily. It also gives us information for "building our audience" with Facebook Ads Manager and creating "look-alike" Audiences.

Can I turn off Cookies?

You can enable, disable or delete cookies within the settings on your browser. In order to do this, follow the instructions provided by your browser (usually located within the “Help”, “Tools” or “Edit” menu). Disabling a cookie or category of cookie does not delete the cookie from your browser; you will need to do this yourself from within your browser by choosing the option to delete cookies. If you have disabled one or more cookies, we may still use information collected from cookies prior to your disabled preference being set, however, we will stop using the disabled cookie to collect any further information.

If you use your browser settings to block all cookies (including essential cookies) please note that you may not be able to access all or parts of the FROM Wales site.
